Changing ATF/FILTER O-RING HELP!
I have dropped the pan and bought the filter/atf. I am just having a severe problem trying to get the o-ring/seal out to put the new one in. I was thinking maybe just use the old one. The only thing is, I have messed the old one up pretty bad trying to get it out. I have put soo much force to it also, like bending the screwdriver kinda force no budge.. I really need some help. I need a working car for work...
Thanks Greg |

It seems as if noone has ever done the atf/filter change. I finally got the o-ring out., it was quite a bitch. I pretty much ripped it to schreads. It was quite a task but I'm finished. I let the old atf drip out for about 3 days. It took 8.5 quarts of mobil 1 syn atf somewhat expensive and hard to find in my area. I hope it performs as it says it does...
