95 vw golf problems

my 95 golf has trouble starting after it has rained hot or cold. i've been told it may be the ignition coil. also the wippers jump when going down and my expansion value for the a/c is not working. i had the compressor replaced orings lines replaced and of course recharged it i beleave it may be the expansion value does anyone know for sure? one more thing my instrument panel is out no gauges. i have checked fuses they are good and replaced relays. help anyone i need to know how fast i'm going before the cop pulls me over.

i had a friend who had the same problem in her vw as the first one you mentioned. for her it turned out to be water was leaking into the gas tank and causing the car to stall out sometimes. you should be able to fix the wiper problem by buying new wipers blades or the arms as well. a pretty common problem for vw's is the connectors often go bad in the wiring. check your wires but also check out whether they are still attached to the connecting ends that go into the various plugs.
