|
Loud humming sound from fuel pump or gas filter
My son has a 96 sunfire with over 200k on it.
The problem he has is it runs fine for a while but has this loud humming sound coming from either the Fuel pump or Fuel filter, after a while this sound changes and the car stalls, and then the real problems begin and we can not seem to keep it running. I also notice when we open the gas tank it sucks in a huge amount of air. any insight would be appreciated
