05 tC vs. 05 2.5S
not exactly an interesting story.... but a street race none the less...
tonight after driving one of my friends off, im driving down a normal 4 lane street, which is completely empty of any people, cops or other cars. well.... until this one car came flying past me. it was an Altima 2.5S, the new body style ones, with a girl driving. I let her go just saying to myself that she'll be the one who gets busted by the cops. Well anyways we meet at a red light, and woe and behold, its a girl. Vroooooooooom i hear come from the engine, and i am like.... what the hell is going on, does she know what shes doing? well what can i say... when a chick wants it, you just have to give it to her, no matter how brutal it is. apparently she didnt know how to launch her car and instantly i gained 1 car length and never looked back until about 80mph when she was 3-4 car lengths back. We meet at the next red light and she just blows it. no thumbs up, no nothing. stupid girl. well either way it was a fun kill. cliff notes Scion tC > Nissan Altima 2.5

Dude, you did that all wrong! You got to let the chick get the jump on ya them blow her a kiss after you gather her back up and pass her! No wonder she was so pissed at the next light!

I actually almsot made a topic about tCs, cause they're my favorite cheap I4 on the market, and I was wondering how they get to 60 so fast with a mere 160 horses?? Are they geared for low end racing?... and what kinda cars do you think you can keep up with from a roll of 50 or so....
Don't mean to make it a v.s. topic, but I kinda wanna get one and I was wondering

the tC is as quick as it is because of its gearing. first gear ends at 30mph, which is relatively short, and the powerband is fairly wide. as far as what it keeps up with....
the mitsubishi ralliart and the sentra se-r I'm not saying it is faster or slower than these cars, but generally it has about the same acceleration and power as these cars

Nice kill, but I agree with the others, you should have given her a bit of a chance, beaten her by just a little bit...then slow down and talk to her...
