So what car has always been on your want list?

For me, as long as I can remember, it's always been the Jensen Interceptor SP. US V8 engine inside a British car with styling from Italy. I saw a blue one when I was about 13 at Windsor and have since seen a white one out at Bankstown airport.

0-100mph in 12 seconds in a 2 ton car. I'd love a series 3 or a very rare FF which came with 4WD in the mid 70s. The FFs never came out here though and it's damn hard to find a SP or saloon. Last I saw, prices for a good condition one was in the 25-30 thousand bracket.

Besides i think I would have had problems with comfort in the CRX, cause the seats on those, are quite reclined...and not comfortable for me...in comparison to where I had to sit... should know my sister had CRX seats in her GL...and its was annoying. sometimes it suxed being a shorty

Weird - the one I drove had seats in the same position as my SiR. But yeah, I know the problem Q

On the other hand, tall people have issues with the roofline on my car. Because of the moonroof, the roofline is about an inch and a half lower than a GL - shorty's revenge I guess. Of course, I offer to open the roof so they can pop their heads out.

I wonder if that's why the moonroofs wern't offered on the 4G in Australia?

I liked the CRX too, but the Jensen is like a HUGE CRX with 3 times the power and twice the weight

Ouch

Last year I drove to Queensland in my car whilst seated in hard PLASTIC RCI buckets. Had to stop at Taree at a wrecker and buy a teg passengers seat for my g/f. hahaha. Fitted it on the side of the road. I still get back spasms just thinking of that trip.

Dream car: Type R Civic
Type R Teg
Mugen Civic (old school)

LOL!!!

I actualy have to do this for one of my mates. If theres no one else in the car I can push the cover back and he just brushs against the sun roof, but if theres others in the back he has the seat back up, and I have to open the roof for his head to fit out! :silly2: :silly2:

We had 4 ppl in the back comeing home from uni one day last year, and he had the seat forward so they could all fit. Everytime I touched the brakes his forehead hit the frount edge of the roof!!

and dream car: Triumph TR6
or a Lotus Carlton, ELise, Or any model of Turbo'd Esprit.
