Seeing as I'm only 18, I'd have to pass on the beer, but I'm up for the bar! Really though, like Rally said, its the end of the summer, its the season for breakups, and we just happen to be the SOBs that were next. Look at it this way, now we have more time and money for our cars!

If it wasn't for gas prices that is. As it stands, i'm worse off finacially now that i'm single than when i was with Teri. I'm TRYING to sell my RX-7... nad I'm probably going to get myself a wolkswagen turbodiesel. Slow as molassas... but it sips fuel. Much moreso than i can say for the Z34.

Ya, thats true. I actually try to keep my driving to a minimum as of late to conserve fuel. I'm leaving for college though, so I'll be spending most of my time on campus and won't need much gas. Terese (my ex) didn't help because she lived 15-20 miles away, but I didn't mind. Since I have college to pay for, I suppose I don't have the money, but at least I have time to sit and look at my car.

i hate seeing people feel crappy because of what other people do or say to them...

i dont understand why guys spend so much money on girls....or why some girls LET guys spend so much money on them. i think things should be split -- IN HALF. me and my ex would go out and he'd pay for dinner and i'd pay for the movie. or he'd pay for both one night and the next time we went out i'd pay for both. sometimes we'd take turns driving to wherever we were going. occasionally (i'm not gonna lie and say always) i'd actually feel bad if he wouldnt let me pay for anything. i dont understand why this sort of thing doesnt occur to other people.

anyway, if i was of legal bar-attending age, i'd buy a round for you guys.

In my case, spending so much money on girls comes from how I was raised. I was raised in a fairly conservative and some would say old fashioned home. My dad is a minister, so you can imagine. Anyway, I was raised that the guy pays for everything unless the girl offers. My parents never actually said that, but thats how it was shown to me. My last gf, the one I just broke up with, was very independent. I had to adjust to letting her pay for stuff when she wanted to. With the driving, she hates driving and I love driving my car, so that was simple. but I'd still prefer to drive anyway. Point is, alot of the paying for stuff is how you were raised.

Re: Dubya Tee Eff mate!

point taken! my only problem with that is that if the guy pays for everything most of the time, he can use it as ammo if there's an argument later on.
