Will a torn motor mount cause my car engine to shake at low idle rpms?

just curious when i have the car is Drive at low idle the car will shake a but if i pop it in Neutral the shake goes away

i have 1 torn motor mount

should i fix the front motor mount or up my idle from 600 to 900

I recommend fixing broken parts as opposed to changing something else to make the broken part unnoticeable.

why is your idle so low? try uping it to 900

You should fix the motor mount if you know it's torn. Just get prothane's they're like $60 for all four.

where is the $60 dollar polyurethane mounts at? autozone? only 1 motormount is torn and that is the front one

no way! i dont want those polyurethane drag engine mounts

they cause the interior of the car to shake. this car is not a drag car its just a normal car! its not even turbo

i'll stick to stock that is what im trying to get rid of the stupid shaking at idle bugs me

My car would shake if it idled at 600 rpms too hahah! Turn that bitch up!

my laser turbo idles at leik 650 and i got a torn motor mount... it doesnt shake unless its abut to stall out. othoe im replacing it soon i sugjest u do the same
