Orion Xtr3 15"

I just picked up an orion XTR3 15" for an amazingly low 0$. its got a dented dust cone but still sounds fine. whats yalls opinion on this sub? ive got about 250 unclipped watts going to it right now. im building a 3.24CUFT @ 36hz ported box for it tomorrow, using a slot vent on one side. this sound alright?

*edit* i was messing around with WINISD and it looks like im gonna use a 2.5CUFT sealed since i dont have a subsonic filter on my amp, i dont want to unload the sub, and its gonna give me a better curve, and still hit about 120DB @ around 35HZ
*edit complere*
here some pics:

The woofer, does anyone have anyideas how to get the dust cap popped back out? ive tried a vacum and tape, but its a stiff ass cap. im thinking a small hook and pulling it out, then sealing with fingernail polish(clear of course) would that affect the woofer in any way?

W/ a cd in the middle

and the Kenwood thats running it
