part identificaton
What is that black cylinder shaped object that is located on the driver door by the hinges? It has an accordian type rubber sheath going into it that comes from the engine compartment and it feels like its full of wires. Thanks.

That is what it is. It holds the wires for the power options in the door. It comes from under the dash fuse panel.
