Re: Under 5k

You guys are stupid. A honda of course. Get a Civic VX. You'll be flying in one of those babies. And you get intake, header, exhaust and you'll be looking at mid to high 17's all day long. Nothing will touch you on the streets, strip, or any where else.

Re: Under 5k

Very good choice, those cars are pretty tough to deal with, and mods do them justice. Open up your exhuast, find yourself an intake, and you should hit about mid 15's. Well, that's the case with the Jetta GLX VR6's. They're tough cookies to beat, even at the current state of my Civ. But I still can beat em.

Re: Under 5k

Your better off, if you want a VDub, to go with one of the already turboed models...

Re: Under 5k

if i were into street racing and only had 5k, i would look at an early 90's late 80's toyota supra. www.autotrader.com is where i've always been able to find cars. lower the miles, the better. if it has a turbo, maybe talk to the driver and find out how it has been drivin because it'll probably be in rough shape. if it doesn't have a turbo, save your money and get one in a few months. you won't be beeting vipers but you will smoke the majority of ricers.

http://www.trader.ca/search/Results....ategory=&CAT=1
that's just an example

good deals pop up on there frequently. you just gotta make sure you jump on the seller right away.

Buy a CRX HF (fuel economy model) and save the rest of your money for gas...

Re: Under 5k

if i had 5k i would save up about $500 more and get a 95 maro LT1 and run mid to low 14's

and how come everytime someone knew asks a question you all start blurting out rice jokes?

if he didnt say anything stupid then take him seriously, you guys are gonna run these guys aout of here, they should feel welcome. unless there name is burntrice or dampachi
