Help with 97 Lumina

Help!! My floorboard floods when I run my A/C. Also, driver's side window will go down, but not up. No sound from the motor, no nothing. Not even an effort. goes down at normal speed, so its not binding up. My major concern at this point, however, is the flood in my floor. Kinda hard to keep a clean car when the carpet is always wet.

Sounds like the evaporator drain is plugged. The drain is on the passenger side of the firewall about 12" down. Just a small piece of black hose sticking out of the firewall about an inch.

You wouldn't happen to know if that's the same location on a '92 Lumina would you Rubicon?

Arkie: I'd tell you to check the contacts on the switch that allow it to go up. I've had problems in the past where some grease in the switch actually covers the contacts. I'm assuming you have the rocker switches and that you also don't mind doing a little bit of disassembly.

Actually The location is from my 97 Lumina. So I would assume they would be the same for 95-01's, not sure about the other years.
