Hey guys, I posted this once before. However, I thought a better title might produce more replies. My civic is having a real hard time cold starting. The problem eventually goes away, but it hapends everytime I have not started the car in the last 6 hours or so. Originally I thought it was a fuel system problem, but the more I explore it, it sounds like either the alternator or the battery. I am going to replace the battery today and we'll see if that helps. Any help, thoughts, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and please advise.

Re: 89 honda civic won't cold start for 30 thirty secs??
You can go to any auto parts store like Advance Auto and they'll test your alternator for free. Check all your grounds...
Click on the link and go to the electrical section and you'll find everything you need. It's the workshop manual in pdf form... http://www.crxpower.net/~silverkorn/...hop_Manual.pdf
