I think my car will eat any honda non turbo....

The other night I was on the road when a prelude (98 or so) pulled up and started to phuk around. It was nice, didnt sound stock, but no blow off, so i was down. From a 35 40 roll in 3rd, i went to 2nd, and punched it, and left him him the whole way, pulling about a car length by the time i was in high 4th going about 110... Now my friends all dispute the fact that i say i can whoop up on some hondas in it... ive already taken an integra(non gs-r) a bmw 323i, and DAMN i raced a 96 stang with a buncha work, and surprisingly stayed right with him till middle 4th and then got left. cool huh.... i didtn think my car had a big hairy set... but it do IT DO! btw- ive raced a lot of other things, but i cant remember em all... can YOU? these are just in the past few weeks

maybe i was too quick to say ANY honda non turbo, cause i know some fast little hondas, but generally speaking... id say about 90% of the time. hehe just to make that clear

might have a hard time taking down a s2000......ive beaten one and lost to one in my 05 spec so i really couldnt say, but they are pretty quick.....other than that honda is garbage, i whooped a gsr that had a cold air intake and advanced timing from a 35 roll, i dont know why people fear the gsr, then again all i hear that out of is honda owners so that really doesnt say too much, other than the s2000 a spec should take down any non turbo honda, i even rode side by side with a crx with a turbo LS integra motor and he couldnt pull me an inch..... : )

no my friend has a GSR and they are pretty fast man I'm not going to lie. I've only seen him lose once while I was in the car. Hondas aren't that bad come on guys lol. I don't really like hondas but when done right they can do things that I'v never seen bedfore. My friends honda civic hatchback does 0-60 in 3.8 seconds thats a REAL honda lol

pretty fast doesnt equal a win, the gsr kept up, but it was about a half length behind.....a kill is a kill

honda's aint fast at all!!!! yep time to rip on honda's.. dont get me wrong those damn cars will run forever! and some of there motors are fast.. try the ariel atom.. i think that is how you spell it.. well it can do 0-60 in less than 3 seconds, and its got a honda engine in it. but basically all that it is, is a freaking go-kart none the less. the nsx has a honda motor in it correct? why does those cars look like they are up with the lambo's, etc, but i've seen one get beat by a camaro!?!?!?!?!?!argh!!!

oh yeah and here in MN where racing is nearly non-exisent, there are several all-motor hondas in the 12 second range so no you couldnt beat any honda non turbo...but i guess it was an exaggeration.
good wins for a beginner but sorry to say that you havent scratched the surface yet. its a START when you can beat a GS-R

its pretty funny how just because Honda has been such a dominant car maker for a long time, they get hated on so badly. Their cars arent designed to race, save for the S2000 and NSX. They are simply built well and that has led to high sales.

i wasnt really hating on handas guys... actually it was some others hating more... i like hondas, i almost bought one instead of this 200sx... but let me explain my purchase. When i drove a honda civic, it had all the goodies that that engine could have w/o the turbo kit. But when your in a honda, to me it still feels comfortable at higher speeds, like "ok, im doin 125 130, no biggie", but when i get into my car, i can feel it.... it more of a rush, and overall just feels like im going fast, when im goin fast. But thats just my opinion. All i was stating before is that with the same stuff thats done to my car, is done to a honda civic, or hatch or prelude or what have you, i still think i can take it nine times outa ten, plus im a very good driver, i did a buncha teen racing in the 90's, so i dont lack a buncha experience that these kids do out on the streets. so now you see, i dont hate hondas, i just love nissans more!!~

well i was going to be nice.......lame i wont be changing my tune until honda drops that v10 into a civic.....slideways, i promise you there isnt a 12 second all motor honda using their stock engine, there isnt a fast hinda out there that hasnt had an engine swap done to it, my friend has a fully bolted civic with his stock SOHC vtec engine in it with everything you could think of save a turbo under the hood, i put him a car length back at the end of first in my stock spec v......what quality from honda.....i will give props to the s2000, although ive heard mixed things about the nsx, such as it being impotent as a race car for the price it costs.....most people i see defending hondas are honda drivers themselves, ive seen only one civic that blew my mind, and it wasnt even really a civic, crx hatchback with a h22 turbo engine fully modded, that thing was quick but then again thats one out of about 200 ive seen, not a good ratio

hondas though for what they we're meant to be are reliable cars I'm a nissan guy but I once drove a honda for 2 years and had not one problem with it. It's just like anything else if you know what your doing you can do crazy things with it
