Tom...
Thanks bro...looks smooth huh. Pimp! XM is $10 a month to subscribe...totally worth it i hear. The total cost is like around $400 for parts and install...also worth it i hear...but then again, i'm a music buff so that is just chump change for 100 channels of digital music 24 hours a day...with NO COMMERCIALS! If you wanna find out more just go to XMradio.com if you haven't already...it's goooood. ~jim~ |

Hey Jim
I checked out that link you put up... damn only Alpine and Pioneer? I was checking out Clarion head units that have CD/MP3/DVD with a 7inch screen.... Gotta do another search. By the way where are you getting it installed? I'm looking for an alarm too, thanks Jim and keep up the good work. ![]() Tom EDIT: Clarion carries Sirus |

Actually...from what i heard...you can install XM on any head unit. Pioneer and Alpine come XM ready, but you can get this special controller to convert any receiver into having XM capabilities. I know Circuit City sells XM...if you're really interested i would go ask someone there. I plan on getting my work done at Jo-Di's on the Berlin Turnpike. I've had work done there before and it came out tight.

Oh yeah...and about Sirius. Initially, it's not going to be as good as XM. They want to charge about 12 a month for only 60 or so stations. Xm is 10/month for 100 stations. Haven't seen what they had to offer as far as music though. I wonder if they have a site as well?
