HPI RS4 RTR3 (56K Take a walk)

Hey guys,

Since everybody else posted up theres i might as well post up mine. I have a few hundred dollars invested in this and it goes pretty fast I want to get a full crbon chassis and 2 speed upgrade next but that will have to wait till i get some more $$. Also i replaced the engine with a HPI T-15 Racing engine. The Black Trans-Am was my first body i ever built andit is just a show body to go along with my dads real car. The Orange Camaro body is my daily driver body and im supprised since i slide and drift alot all i have hit is one light post resulting in a minor crack> The crash wasnt my fault though, a rock got jammed it the steering and woulnt let me steer away from the pole and i couldnt stop fast enough.

^ Running a fare bit of camber as u see, the lines are supposed to go all the way.

^ There is a sheild i custom made out of clear plastic that you can see right behind the front right tire to prevent those dents from getting on my nice exhaust

No this is the HPI RS4 RTR3 not the evo. This is the same kit except it came out first and it doesnt have the 18ss motor. I dont know if the evo has the 2 speed or not but my car does not.

I am very confused. There's a rsr rtr like yours. A ss version. A kit version. A rtr evo version. I wonder what the difference is. The one Im getting is the evo rtr and I think it has a 2speed and .15 nitrostar with rotostart.

yes! you got it, there is one like mine which came with the .15 engine, the ss which came with the .18 ingine and the evo which i dont know what engine. My kit is discontinued and those are the replacements for it. BTW i dont like the rotostart because it forces fuel and stuff into the engine where as the pull start you can feel when its hard or easy.

Re: HPI RS4 RTR3 (56K Take a walk)

The owner im getting the evo replaced the rotostart engine with a pullstart but he'll be including the rotostart. I was planning to put the rotostart back but I think since he and you dont like the rotostart maybe I'll just stick with the pullstart. Is that blue tuned pipe stock? What were the first things to break in a crash and which get worn out even if you dont crash. I heard the rear dogbones wear easily. Im an EP guy so this will be my first GP.

The blue tuned pipe is made by Golden Horizons, and the header is made by traxxas. Pipe= $59.99 Canadian, Header= $29.99 Canadian. So far nothing has broke, crashed once into a pole, nothing. No wear on anything except the tires. The only thing that has broken is the throttle servo, and the guy at the rc shop did it and wouldnt admit it so i dont do business with him anymore. No problems with the dogbones at all. It is a different model so they might wear differently.
