hatch-coupe insurance rates

OK I have researched but I just need to know how much is the difference in insurance rates between a hatch and a coupe? Also I feel stupid for asking this but is B18b OBDI or OBDII?

Re: hatch-coupe insurance rates

Depends on the state. I pay $400 for 6 months, for the minimum required insurance; here in Central NY. I own a '94 cx hatch. Never been in an accident, and haven't gotten any points on my license ever.

There are OBD2 and OBD1 b18b's.

Re: hatch-coupe insurance rates

full coverage i belive. i did get in a wreck a while back but that still hasnt shown up on my insurance and they refuse to tell us how much more its gona be but before the wreck thats what it was. alot of my friends are also paying above 2k. it also depends how much u drive ur car. i drive it to school and to work so they charged me more for that too. so it all comes out to 3k with clean record

I have a 92 hatch with a lot done to it, all of which are covered under insurance(I have everything covered, theft, vandalism, etc.) I pay about 1400 a year, but that's because I'm 19 and have 3 points on my record.

$1400 a year aint bad at all...my friend has a '91 hatch and doesn't have full coverage and hes payin about $2000 a year and hes 20 with a clean record i believe.

Re: hatch-coupe insurance rates

But you've also got to figure in the conversion for canadian $ to US $. And maybe in Canada, they have different requirements for what you need in coverage.
