I have a 1991 Tercel that I just bought from a friend. He put an engine from a 1992 Tercel in it because the original engine was hatched. He removed the entire wiring harness from the 92, and put it in the 91. Pulled out the interior and pretty much replaced everything. I even put the steering column from the 92 into the 91 because the plugs didn't match. I can get it to start if I hotwire the fuel pump, but other wise the fuel pump doesn't turn on at all. The engine turns over, it just isn't getting gas. I need to know where the fuel pump relay is located, and the fuel pressure regulator, so I can start tracing wires. If you have any other ideas, let me know. Thanks, Jake

Could I just hotwire the fuel pump to the ignition so that it is always on when the ignition is on, or would this damage the pump? If it would just shorten the pump life a little, I don't care. Or, is that just a crazy idea?!
