1994 Lincoln Trunk Problems
I am having problems closing my trunk. When I usually close the trunk it will close manually. Now when I try to close it the little noise that I hear doesnt come on. Do you know what the problem could be?

The pulldown motor stopped working. There's several things in the pulldown assembly that can cause it to stop working.
I can't remember if it's fused, but if it is, it's sharing power with some other devices, is anything else not working? If that's true, check the fuses first. The wires are visable when you look at the pulldown assembly. Check that their all connected. There's several switches and levers that operate the switches in the pulldown assembly, one may be defective. Unless your good with these type of devices, and even the best concede, you might find it easier and faster to get another pulldown assembly from a scrapyard and swap them out.
