starting

94 suburban when you start it, it stalls you have to floor the gas and hope you can get it to idle.Black smoke comes out, if you can keep it at 2000 rpms it seems to run fine. i have replaced the the fuel filter, fuel pump, gas tank, spark plugs, 02, map, throttle sensors and rebuilt the throttle body.the service engine light has never come on. when your out on the road it seems to run fine until you stop and then when you go to take off it wants to stall but if you give it very little gas until you get going its seems to be ok.

Re: starting

Well your getting fuel...and too much of it. As black smoke indicates running pretty rich. It sounds to me, like Air is the problem. Check to make sure your MAS is plugged in. Sounds like it isn't metering air correctly. If it's plugged in, I would think that it needs to be cleaned or replaced.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
