98 Taurus Transmission
98 Taurus Auto transmission when first started in morning moves into gear and car starts moving, but doesn't seem to shift past 2nd for the first mile. Then no problem. Acts normal. Car has 120,000 Kilometers. After car is parked for more than 6 hours, same thing, or if in town, the car seems to be in neutral after a short distance, but will finally kick into gear (maybe a block of coasting), If used throughout the day, no problem. Had dealer check it but couldn't find anything with the Ford machines. Any ideas?
Can anyone help me?
