Re: Cruise Control Problem!!

By not holding speed do you mean like that its going up/down by large amounts, or it goes up/down 2-3 mph?

Unhappy

It's a 92 Lude Type S. (Auto). When I"m on the highway, and I press the bottom for the cruise control, the green light goes on, but when I take my foot off the pedal, the speed goes down like if it was off.

thanks guys

Re: Cruise Control Problem!!

I have a 1996 Honda Prelude VTEC, and my cruise control use to work intermittingly but now does not work at all. It would work, and then pop off, now it just doesn't work period. Anyone?

I hate to ask the really really really really dumn question... but are you pushing the button on the lower right of your steering wheel that turns the C.C?
Does the cruise control icon light up on your dash?

Re: Cruise Control Problem!!

The cruise control light use to come on intermittingly and it would work, for the last two months, no cruise control light on the dash, or on the console button, as well I am pushing the obvious two cruise control buttons on the steering. (checked the fuses yesterday they are good)
