Honda-Tech?

ok i know a lot of people in this forum are also registered in honda-tech(including myself). I was just wondering if anyone else thinks that honda-tech may be a little overrated? I was looking through some of the tech stuff there and it seems kinda hard to get answers and the few questions I have posted there were never answered. Personally i like this forum more and think its more organized. Im not saying it isn't a good site they have great write ups but the actual forum just doesnt seem very great to me. Just wanting to know if anyone else feels the same?

This came to my mind after reading posts saying that people should ask their tech questions there. Also there are a ton of smart ass people there that would rather worry about punctuation than answering the question at hand.

Re: Honda-Tech?

I think the 4th gen forum here is more organized and better all around, but I think everything else is a little better over there. Their '92-'00 forum has way more detailed information, and is far better organized than AF's. It also helps that they get way more traffic there, so questions get answered faster. I think the main thing is that you have to do extensive searching over there before asking questions (as everyone should be doing here anyways), or you won't get answers. But there are a lot of cocky a-holes who will rip into someone for no good reason. But then again, there are people who rip into those people for ripping into others; pretty much evens out. Just take it with a grain of salt, it's an internet forum so don't take anything personal.

Re: Honda-Tech?

Its not called hater-tech for nothin! Theres alot of really intelligent people on there though, others like majority of the people in the kills section are just there to feel good about themselves after they make fun of someone on the internet, because they are likely losers in real life and have no lives.

Re: Honda-Tech?

Personally, I think honda-tech is for superior to the honda forum on AF. True, on honda-tech if you ask a dumb question or something that gets asked every day, then its possible you wont get an answer. Honda-tech is the first place I go to when I need an answer, there search function is GOD. And I mean it. Have you ever tried to do a search on AF? Its impossible to find what you want. On honda-tech you can narrow the search to just topic titles to find the answers easier. There are WAY more people on the site, which in turn makes there be a bunch of experienced dudes that can answer anything, if I were to ask some question I have on this forum, they would never get answered because there are mostly newbs or ricers on here.

But AF is more of a tigther group if you know what i mean. We all come here and know what everyone drives and whats done to it. On honda-tech, i have no idea who anyone is or what they do.

Both boards have their ups and down. But in the long run.....AF IS MY HOME! LOL.

Re: Honda-Tech?

Maybe you should look up the definition of maby.
