Gas mileage problems

1992 Chevy S10 Blazer, 4.3L, 4X4

When I replaced the O2 sensor, I began to get 22 MPG, but then it went down. Since then I have done a full tune-up, besides fuel filter, and replaced transfer case switch (was getting fluid into engine). The fuel filter is less than a year old I suppose, but I have been traveling a lot. My original average MGP was 17. I checked it today and it went down to 15, after all this work!! So, change the fuel filter and is there anything else I could do to get better MPG? I'm about to go home to TX in a week. 1500 miles!! Thank you!

Might try a bottle of fuel injector cleaner then change the filter
