HELP PLZ!! how do you make a led system?

what do i have to buy to make a LED system. and how do i wire it up?

u need:
-leds
-thin cable
-batteries
-switch
optionally:
-resistors (theyll keep the batteries from short circuiting)
EDIT: solder the resistors to the + leg of the led. I dont use them so the choice is yours

the leds u bought probably work on 3V if not ure gonna have a problem with power supplies (u wont be ably to hide the batteries in the car)

wire 2 bat up like this ------- -(_____)+ ----- -(_____)+ ------- take the led and check in wich position it glows probably the longer leg is +

for headlights take 2 leds solder cables 2 them. take for example the - right 2 the battery and the + thru the switch 2 the battery Do that outside of the car but make shure the cables are long enough to hide in the car. If everything works hide the batteries in the the car and put the leds behind the headlights (after drilling holes in the die cast)
