Question HELP!!!! brake, turn,&backup lights don't work

I have a '95 tbird. The mentioned lights have stopped working. The running lights all around do, and the ONLY brake light that does work is the one "high mount" behind the back seat. I have checked all the fuses in both the pass. and engine compartment (although I have no idea what the black square one in the high voltage {engine comp.} is for) and they are all fine. The brake light in the cab works, not the tail. and no flashers what so ever (not even a indicator light). If I go to a parts store there are flashers (one type round and a black square 3 prong) but for the life of me I have no clue (don't see a mate anywhere, in cab or engine?????)

Asked about it here before, don't have a manual, and as twice directed to the "in cab fuse box".....there is nothing there but you skinny common fuses....and they are all fine.

Do I have to pay big bucks to find a fix, or is there really someone out there who can help me. Just don't want to pay outrageous labor/parts for something I can just "garage" fix.

Thank you,
Shawn

P.S. .......or anyone want to buy it as is??????.....LOL

Re: HELP!!!! brake, turn,&backup lights don't work

Check the backup light bulbs and using a voltmeter or test light see if you have power at the socket. Have someone move the shift lever back and forth a little bit in case the switch (Range Sensor) is out of adjustment. Be sure you have the parking brake set!!!!! Power for this circuit goes from the turn signal fuse, through the Transmission Range Sensor, to the lamps. I suspect the Multi-function switch in the steering column is your other problem as long as you know all fuses are good. Go to your local library and ask for the Mitchell electrical manual for your year car to get the schematic for it. If you live in a real small town you may have to go somewhere that has a larger library!
