Problem #1
I have a problem with the A/C not working. The light inside comes on and I do have power going to the relay, but don't seem to be getting a signal for the relay to turn on the compressor. Fuse is fine and I swapped out the relay with the one for the wipers (same type) and it still does not work. The A/C just quit working all of a sudden one day while I was driving.

Problem #2
i have a gas smell coing from the front after I drive it. My wife took the car in and they said it was the catalitic convertor and replaced it. The smell went away for about 2 weeks and is back now. Any ideas????

#1 Could be low on freon causing the compressor to stay OFF.

#2 I had a leak in the fuel line going to the injectors. Replaced the hose clamp and all OK.

Thanks.

#1- I found a leak on the Low Pressure Suction line for the A/C. It is going to cost me $81.00 for a new line from the dealer and takes a day to get here.

#2- I also found a fuel leak on the rubber line that goes to the fuel rail. Someone had already repaired it and the clamps came loose. Tightened them up and that took care of that problem.

Thanks- Nelson

The fuel rail leak problem is under warranty even if the normal warranty has expired no limit on milage. Check or call Chrysler for detail. They repair mine in 2004 under the recall program.
