2000 malibu intake??

I have a 00 malibu with the 3.1L engine, and i cant find any intakes for this engine, the only one that i can find is for the 2.4L engine...my question is will the 2.4 fit the 3.1...if not can some one tell me where too find one for the 3.1L

no, there are very few parts that will both fit on the 2.4 and 3.1 and an intake is not one of them.

this link will take you to doctorspeed they make an intake for the grand am witch will also work for the malibu. i know cause its the one i cave in my car, its a little expenhsive but it comes with a k&n air filter. you can also check ebay but be sure you are getting one with a k&n filter or something comprable because otherwise you will probably get a cheap cotton filter which may be harmful to your engine or reduce the power
