Re: how to get a leaf spring bushing out

A press, or burn out the rubber with a torch, it's what I had to do..

Re: how to get a leaf spring bushing out

Does this mean you can't get the nut off the bolt either ? can you move the old shackle around or is it stuck on the top side? when I lifted mine , the shackle had been squeezed tight onto the collar inside the bushing . GOT a Hammer . Heat will damage the spring tension if youget it too hot ,but you can beat the hell out of it . Rob
