Catback for Acura RSX

I have a Catback for Acura RSX with no lable. Brand new. Excellent condition. I bought it a month ago from American Performance Product and never really had a time to install it. Since I don't own that car anymore, I want to sell it. I am selling it for $300 local pick up and $330 shipped anywhere in USA.

interested?????......let me know....

Re: Catback for Acura RSX

I am certainly not trying to kill your sale but 300 for a used Generic exhaust is a bit much....

The Tsudo N1 Extreme and Tsudo Fireball (the N1 has gotten good reviews) is around 300 dollars brand new. And theres even more choices for just a bit more for the Type S (i'm guessing this is a base RSX).

Re: Catback for Acura RSX

I'd rather buy 300 McChicken sandwiches. They are tasty and delicious, unlike your random catback exhaust. Consequently, replacing my exhaust with a McChicken sandwich will provide the same boost in horsepower...

Re: Catback for Acura RSX

Not to mention the McChicken will withstand a few months and not have anything bad in it (the R&D was all care of Supersize me)

That mayo they put on it though....mmm i-VTEC'd McChickens.

Re: Catback for Acura RSX

If you go back two posts, Canuck mentions two. If it was my car, I would go with Magnaflow or Greddy Evo II. Both comparably low profile designs/ reputable companies. The Fujitsubo PG sounds incredible, but a little difficult to come by and Canuck mentioned something once about it being a little restrictive. Like we keep saying though, it's more a matter of looks and sound (a personal preference), and not so much related to performance gains due to the unrestrictive nature of the stock exhaust. So a "good" catback in this case is one that looks and sounds good to you and won't rust.

But if you're concerned with actual PERFORMANCE, your money is best spent elsewhere...

Re: Catback for Acura RSX

^^^ Yup I can't really add anything. For the most part (unless you're heavily modded) exhausts are not going to be the best performance bang for the buck (esp. on 05-06 RSXs).

They're all for sound and price....

One of the guys at Hondata said the Fujitsubo was restrictive, but that mainly applies to cars that have S/Cs/lots of power where the airflow needs to be maximized.

It all depends on how much you're willing to pay, what sound you like, and if brand name and style matters to you.
