Gas Gauge Probs

K, my Gas Gauge won't work, here is a pic of how it's wired up. The Gauge is brand new, is it wired correctly, the instructions weren't in it when I got the Gauge and I didn't worry because it seamed straight forward, any help would be greatly apreciated not having a workin gas gauge is really anoying, thanks.

That looks good to me. Is the gauge and the tank sender designed to work together?, they might be incompatible.

Try using a multimeter and get the reslstance comiong from the sender. For most gauges, the sender will read 90 ohms when the sender float is all the way to the far end of its travel. As the float moves through its range of motion, the resistance will drop to near zero.

For example:
Ford senders tend to read 90 ohms when empty, and 0 when full.
GM senders read 90 ohms when full and 0 when empty.
