Re: Trasmission Problem
Oil leaking on the tire is a damaged cv boot which will lead to a bad cv joint. However, you can get a damaged cv joint without the leaking. One way to tell is do turns. If it is a cv joint, the outside cv joint, if bad, will increase the clicking speed. It doesn't cost anything to do the test. Also look at the outside boots to see if they are cracked/broken. Maybe all the oil has long leaked out.

Re: Re: Trasmission Problem
i did the turns the clicking stayed at the same speed it only increases with speed. are there berrings in the CV joint that could go bad or perhaps the splines that conect it to the hub or tranny
