Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound
i just bought some Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound Heavy Duty Cleaner. i was wondering, is it any good?

No, it's not good if you're even thinking about using it on a model-it's way too harsh for any use on models and isn't really intended for any 1:1 modern paint job.
If you want something that's like 220/400 grit liquid-gel sandpaper that will also melt your paint because it has a bunch of harsh petroleum-based chemicals in it, it's great. There are a couple of excellent tutorials in the FAQ's w/pictures and recommended polishes.
