1995 Ranger Brake Bleeding trouble

Tried to help a friend bleed brakes to change the fluid, and got no flow on either rear brake bleeder while holding the pedal. We did not try the fronts. Something unique about the Ranger? Please help.

Did you just do a brake job on it? If so did you compress the front calipers? Is so try this, with then motor off, open both rear bleeders and push the brake pedal all the way to the floor and hold it until both bleeders are closed. If you get flow that way, do it again and then road test, you should be ok. If you get no flow, disconnect the brake line from one of the wheel cylinders and see if it flows. Those models have a very touchy abs system. If you are getting no flow at all to the rear thats likely the culprit.
