Re: Aem Short Ram

Slight performance gain, lots of noise. I can't tell if there's any gain on the bottom end, but the noise makes it seem faster. Definitely a small performance gain on the top end. VTEC kicks in a little harder. It's probably good for about 3-4 extra horses.

At least that's what I noticed with a CAI. Probably the same with an SRI.

Re: Aem Short Ram

Correct me if I'm wrong, the way the SRI sits in the engine bay lets it breathe in hot air vs. the CAI lets it breathe in cold air.

Re: Aem Short Ram

Your right, but even a short ram is an improvement over stock.

True.. as a matter of fact, I am currently using a universal air intake filter that I bought for $40 until I have enough money to buy an AEM CAI. I noticed a little improvement on throttle response but nothing huge.

Re: Aem Short Ram

Well even with a CAI you won't notice too much.
