Alarm Siren

Hey al,l i was installing my alarm today, and it was working perfectly, and after a few minutes of playing around makeing sure everything worked(unlock and lock functions, which they did work) i unlocked the doors and the unit just stopped working. I thought it was the fuse, so i replaced the fuse going to the twelve volts and it began to work again. But now my siren is barely making a peep. when i unlock and lock the doors if i put my ear to the siren i could hear a very low whining. Is the siren blown, or is this a problem from the alarm unit. Can it be fixed?

Re: Alarm Siren

Alarms are definantly not something I know that much about. But I would suggest private messaging member Ponchonutty

He knows alot more about alarms than I do.

My only idea would be perhaps your battery got drained. When mine gets low, my alarm does similar things.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
