Question Help finding wires for engine codes

92 rodeo 3.1. Can't find the wires to jump for engine codes. Please help!!! Autozone is no help, so bought the haynes manual. Cannot find them where they described. Under console to the left by kickpanel.
Work was done on the truck plugs, cap, and rotor. Car starts but dies when gas is applied. Cel has been on next step is checking for code. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance

I found the wires and plug under the left kick panel with the pcm on my '93. Remove the panel to access. The Haynes manual says to use the "check engine" light for the codes, but I found it was actually the "check trans" light on the center dash that flashed. Good luck.

Update:

My friend, I may have steered you a little wrong with my previous answer. As I learn more about the vehicle, I discovered there are 2 test looms by the PCM. The one with the orange wires is for the PCM and does use the "check engine" light for code reading. The other one, the one I have been mistakenly using, is for testing the tranny controller. It uses the "check trans" light to show codes. On my truck, that connector end is green with 3 wires.

Sorry about the confusion. Live and learn I guess.
