Second Row Captain's Chairs

We recently got a 98 GC ES 3.8L, with a second row bench........does anyone know if you can take the bench out and put in a captains chair? I know that you are not able to put in two captains chairs due to the fact that there is only one set of tracks, but I think that one may be possible......does anyone know for sure? If not, can someone with second row captains chairs please measure the distance between tracks on bottom of the chair so that I can see if they would fit into the tracks in my van? Also, can you please measure the distance between the front and back hooks (where the seats lock into the floor)? Thanks a lot! I am guessing the dimensions are the same as the captains chairs in the front (which I obviously have), but want I to make sure before I go throught the process of buying a chair that will not fit into our van.

The captains seats each lock into a single row of anchors, and my rear bench will move ahead and mount where my captains seats are, so...you should be able to get a pair of captains seats and use them.

Thanks for the reply........you are right, they do simply latch/attach right in. We got some seats from a salvage yard and they work great.

Can anyone help me out with what year seats are interchangeable with my 02?
