Re: problem installin sus. tech. sway bars.!

I had that same prob putting on my front SusTech sway bar!! I thought it was just me. lol

Basically I used an Impact, pushed really hard and squeezed... I think it even tried to cross thread, but the impact just drove through it.. hope I don't ever have to pull it off

rear went on noproblem.. jack up the suspension (to a resting level) makes it easier to do the connecting bolts on the ends..

Yea the bushing is way too thick. I did the same thng and just cross threaded it with the impact, but to do it the right way, you might want to just trim down the bushing a little bit with a utility knife or something.

You have to make the hole in the middle of the bushing bigger right? Would a Dremel work?

sounds like you are trying to line up the last bolt after the first two are already tightened up? try the reverse order. sometimes too you might have to jack up a part of the suspension with a floor jack to get it to line up. (or check that you arent already pushing up on something with where your jack is)

Re: problem installin sus. tech. sway bars.!

Nah, I tried everything when installing mine. It was a bitch. I have heard on other forums that the bushing is too big also, and its true. Suspension techniques just makes the bushing too big. I now have energy suspension bushings in mine, and they went in a lot easier and fit perfectly how they should.
