Question Coils 4 & 1 spark 2 & 3 don,t

My 95 Talon Turbo the Coils 4 & 1 spark 2 & 3 don,t both coils are
getting power so I pulled out the coils and swithed the wires in the rear of the coils and 2 & 3 work but only with the wires from 4 & 1. The fuses are all good! Coil pack has been replaced! What could be the problem?

Very simple. Replace the coil pack.

Re: Coils 4 & 1 spark 2 & 3 don,t

My guess would be the wires are shot. Are they the stock wires? How many miles are on your car? I know mine flaked out around 130k miles but I think that is more a car/driver specific thing.

edit: I think I misread what you wrote. I agree with ^

Well my first thought was change the coil pack but you said that you replaced the old one with another and the problem was still present. But...the only thing that I can think of is check the power feed for the coil pack and make sure that there aren't any areas that have been melted or maybe caught on something and pulled apart. Check the prongs in the wiring harness to see if maybe the prong may have been bent over... or maybe missing. Yeah maybe you just have a faulty wire like DragonofBC said. Good luck and welcome to AF, some advice add your car info into you sig makes things easier.
