spare tire part
my 98 gp is missing the little rod that runs all the way through the foam holder, jack and up to the spare tire where you screw on the little circular holder, i have the circular holder thing, i just need the whole rod that runs straight up, what are those called also? it was missing when i bought the car and i cant find out where to get one, is there any place online that might have one or an auto store?

Re: spare tire part
A junkyard would be a good place to get one, or go to the hardware store and get a threaded rod(approx 10"- 12") and bend one end in a vice to resemble the old one.I dont think this is a common part in the auto store, and dealer will most likely have it but, why pay more?
