I'm new here and a new Fiero owner. I have read much about the headlight problems Fiero's have. I have never read anything about this type of problem that I have. Both headlights will go up and down, but only if I play with the switch (dash) This is a new switch by the way. If I push the switch like you normally do, nothing happens. If I push and hold the switch about half of its travel then the lights come up. Shutting the lights off works as normal. Does anyone have this type of problem, or know what could be wrong? Any help would be appreciated

Re: Fiero headlight problems
theres a great fiero repair manual on line at
http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/G...o_osg/osg.html if it ain't on there it probable wont brake. just scroll to the section on headlights, or what ever else is broke.

Re: Fiero headlight problems
Most common problem is the headlight motor. www.rodneydickman.com has rebuilt kits for the motors.

TRy cleaning all of the wiring terminal at the headlights. There are a couple of micro switches to start and stop the motors. If you ever need motors - Look for Firebirds in the scrapyards - they're the same motors and more common.
