Thottle body Im furious and about to go crazy

Hey. Got a few questions. The other day I noticed I had a vacuume leak comming from the gasket under the throttle body. Its worn and I already got a new gasket to replace it. Well the manual is pretty clear on how to do it. Except I cant figure out how to take off the throttle linkage. So thats my first question. I wanna clean it as well so I need to take it all the way off. Secondly Im assuming gas is supposed to leak out. Please correct me if Im wrong so im not spilling liquid gold everywhere. And third I while I was turning the bolt to disconnect the fuel line the damn fuel line twisted with it. I quickly twisted it back but now theres a slight twist and a crimp in it. so Im mad as hell right now. Also I dont know what the plastic things on top of the throttle body are called. They're kinda like a clear white plastic with wires comming out of them. Well anyway one of them is shipped and the wires are exposed. Dont know what they're called to see if I can get a new one. But I mostly worried about the crimped fuel line. My car isnt performing that well in the first place so I need this. Please please please help.

Rulw #1 to a newbie under the hood, read and study up. Make sure you have the right tools for the right job, in this case a flare nut wrench and a b/up on the opposing line.

Replace that line!
