1.5L ignition burned out

I got a civic 89 1.5 L. and the ignition burned out, i got one from a 1.6 L. but one plug changes cause of the cables, can I swap a 1.6 L. ignition on a 1.5 L. motor? If someone knows if i can do something bout the plug let me know, and thanks in advanced!!
