How to remove parking break cable

Was wondering how to remove parking break cable thanks for help!\

for permanent removal or for a repair?

Bah replaceing the Heater Core.....thought I might have to take that off tog et the dash of but realized I can get to it without completely takin' the dash off.....and getting the two straps back on are a pain.....especially the right one......
