i was driving along and a fuse blew and my cd player turned off so i went to canadian tire and bought a new 1 and put it in and now even noe the car is off and the key is out the cd player doesnt turn off

did you replace the fuse with the right amp rating? Chances are if you didn't you've fried something, in this case, the wires are shorted to power thus giving you constant power. Depending on where the short is at, it can take a while to locate it.
