Bad Oil Pump!?!?
hey guys well this week i tore my engine all the way down to the block trying to fix this oil problem i was having...needless to say i still have the same thing when i put it back together...the problem is that there is no oil getting to the rocker arms so i'm worrying about it wearing them!! so ya as you can see idk what to do!!! if u could give me some info/help asap that'd be great!! i wanna fix this problem today :-)

I will assume you have good oil pressure and that you have blown out all the pushrods with compressed air and the pushrods are straight, without excess wear, and their oil passages are free and clear (ie, you can see down through the pushrods with no obstructions)
My first thought is that you have the wrong lifters in there. I recall there are a variety of GM lifters that will fit in the lifter bore, but the oil hole on some of the lifters is the wrong height. If you have hydraulic lifters, this problem often (but not always) causes noisy lifters

hey!! well yah do u mean lifters as an pushrods?? cuz yah u just bought 2 new ones and idk--> yah well i bought this car to learn so idk like a grip but i do know enough to be dangerous! ~lol~ so maybe be like umm.mm more detailed if u can be...well thanX

but yah all of my pushrods r good i replaced 2 of em cuz they were bent!! well maybe i'll make a vid. and post it of it running cuz yah idk what the problem is!! so yah any other idea's maybe???

uh........get a manual on engine rebuilding before you do anything else.
Without basic knowledge of the components or engine building, you can do some serious and expensive damage, without realising it. The lifters are the 2 inch high cylindrical things that the pushrods sit on. They need oil pressure to function properly, which is fed through tiny holes in the block. Here is a simple question - why do you think the rocker arms are not getting oil? They only receive small splashes or droplets of oil out of the top of the pushrods. Its not like there is a steady stream of oil on them. Seriously, get a manual. I would suggest one that goes into in-depth detail on engine building.
