stalling out while driving
Having troubles with '90 Lebaron Convertable stalling out while driving, blinkers and tach meter not always working. Can go somedays with no stall outs other days 2-3 times within 10 miles. Just have to pull over put in park and start back up. Have changed plug wires, plugs, pcv valve (which was clog).fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter. It still acts up. Took it to a service garage - He can't figure it out. Any help is appreiciated.

Re: stalling out while driving
you mentioned that your blinkers and tach don't work when it stalls............sounds like you have a bad ignition switch and/or key cylinder.

Re: stalling out while driving
I thjink I mentioned this in another thread, but have the mechanic check the "always hot" red wire in the driver's side engine compartment, close to the hood hinge. It has a weak spot. I replaced mine after having similar troubles with a larger wire and a fuse holder. hasnt done it since. Oh, and it was my own mechanic who told ME where to look, so I'm thinkin' its a common problem lol.
