We have a 1990 Caprice 305 ex cop car. It doesn't code anything, have checked all wiring, components, etc. and can't find the problem. It will start but shuts off almost immediately. Now we can add a fire to the injectors and get constant fuel and it will run until it floods, fuel pressure up in the regulator, but won't spray throught the injectors automaticly. We are at a loss, don't know what to check next. Please help us.
Thanks, Zan Stout |

Re: 1990/305/no codes/starts but shuts off instantly
Check for a loose wire at the power juntion box on the right inner fender. IIRC, my 89 9c1 did the same thing and it was nothing more than a loose power wire to the fuel pump relay. Re-check all of your under hood wires and grounds.
