R32 GT-R for only $10800!!!!!

Oh, darn, wait a minute, it's still in Japan Well you figure, only a couple grand to ship it over, and motorex wants $16K to convert it, you're still WAY under the $40K that they want for the same car.

I like the front license plate holder. They should make something like that available in the U.S. for the cars that don't come with pre-drilled holes :cough:G20:cough: so that the owner could at least hide the holes up inside the air dam.

If thats US$10,800 then its about NZ$25,000 which for a R32 GTR is a little on the expensinve side, especialy since its no longer standard, and as some one pointed out has a lovely dent above the rear wheel.

R32's GTR's are easily found under $7,000 US in Japan, but for a good one that is clean, low miles, with some tuning will be around $18,000+ We see it everyday in the "Car Sensor" (the "yellow pages" of car sales) and other car sale magazines in Japan. So personally, I think Motorex's little Monopoly cartel is bullsh$#! There would be hundreds of Skylines in the states if it wasn't for Motorex and their BS, think of all the thousands of Military members like me who would have bought one and brought it back it we didn't have to go through Motorex, its a conspiracy if you ask me!

Come on DJ, seriously if it weren't for MotoRex how else would we get a Skyline in the States? Not from Nissan, so maybe they are to blame?! I don't like the high price either, not double the price of a new car for a "used" one, but what other choice?! Matter of fact throw in the DOT or even the big 3 American car makers.

The big 3 have killed smaller car company's in the past ie Delorean, Packard, etc. and have more say in the laws of America than Auto makers from outside the US. The American auto makers are the biggest monkey wrench in why we don't have the Skyline, EVO, or many other low flying cars in the US.

Thank MotoRex for at least being the first one's to crash test and get the Skyline US legal. Remember THEY spent their money to do it. They are just trying to recoup on their investment. Just hope that once they do, they'll bring the price down plus it would be nice if they would bring the price down on converting pre-owned Skylines to US spec. ie soldier's bringing their cars home pay $15K to have their car done instead of the current $25K or so.

HEY! If anyone from MotoRex is reading this, I keep going to bat for you guy's so how's about giving me a discount
