Reduced Length Headers

I'm new to the forums so I'll try to keep this inquiry on track...

69' Chevelle SS396

I am having trouble finding reduced length or 'Shorty' Headers for my square exhaust port heads.
As far as I know these are the stock Iron heads for the 396. The square exhaust ports measure approx 1.9" x 1.9" with no porting having been done on them.

I had some Hooker Competition full-length headers 2" primaries with 3 1/2" collectors on there but they were having clearance issues ever since I installed drop spindles and tubular upper and lower a-arms. The pavement has since ground away the collector and consequently the collector gasket as well as flattening the lower ends of 4 primaries.

I went to the local speed shops in my area and it seems the only thing they had for the shortened length were round port flanges and all of their square port flanges were full length.

Short of getting custom headers made for this nightmare, has anyone run into this problem and know a manufacturer that sells a fix or anyone that can point me in the right direction?

Please don't suggest going back to cast iron manifolds!!! :-(

Not looking for a miracle, just a viable solution. Thanks for reading!!

Thanks for the reply, JuiceAmixx.

I just got my set of BB3 Sanderson's Headers and they are just what I was looking for.
After having a few parts guys on the phone from some speed shops tell me Big Block Chevys didn't come with square exhaust ports I was nearing my wit's end. I can't believe from all the parts places I called (Jegs, Summit Racing, and 4 Northern California retailers) no one ever mentioned Sanderson and I live 4 hours from the Sanderson mfg plant...

Anyhow, after I re-route my Transcooler lines and figure out how to get the driver's side header on without removing my steering column/steering gearbox, I'm sure to be very satisfied with these headers. As a side note, I was very suprised by the construction of these headers. not many manufacturers use 3/8" thick header and collector flanges anymore.
I'm glad to see the continued support for square-port exhaust big blocks!!
